New Year – New You: $20,000 Fitness Transformation Challenge!

We are so excited to officially announce our biggest upcoming fitness challenge to date!  We will be giving away a total of $15,000 in prizes!  Continue reading below for all the details.

We are going BIG, and one of you is going to WIN BIG!!! Starting January 1, 2022, we are kicking off a New Year – New You: $15,000 Transformation Challenge.  There will be three winners earning a total of $20,000 in Prizes. The Grand Prize winner will receive $15,000, 1st Runner Up will receive $4,000 cash and 2nd Runner Up will receive $1,000 cash.

To be eligible to win, you must be an active PowHer.fit member on or before January 10 through at least July 5. This will be a 6 month transformation challenge to show that real sustainable results require a LIFESTYLE change! PowHer.fit memberships are either regular monthly recurring, regular yearly recurring, empowerment coaching monthly recurring, and empowerment coaching yearly recurring.

In addition to being an active PowHer.fit member, you must purchase a $20,000 fitness challenge ticket.  These tickets will be a one time fee of $50 on November 22 from 5pm-11:59pm CST, $75 from November 23-November 29.  After November 30, the ticket price will increase to $100.  The absolute last day you can purchase a $20,000 Transformation Challenge Ticket will be January 10.

Once you are an active PowHer.fit member and have purchased your $20,000 Transformation Challenge Ticket, you will have access to the $20,000 Transformation Challenge Entry Forum.  Within that forum there will be 3 different topics.  Those will be:

  1. Submit Your Before Content – $20,000 Transformation Challenge (link to privately turn in your content)
  2. $20,000 Transformation Challenge Discussion 
  3. Submit Your After Content – $20,000 Transformation Challenge (link to privately turn in your content)

Before Content: Photos & Video only.  Your Before Content can be turned in anytime from January 1 – January 10.  You will need to take a beginning photo of the front, side and back view anytime during January 1-10.  You will also need to take a video of a 360 degree view (so move in a slow, full circle while being recorded) so that we can verify that your body is not “edited” in any way.  In order for your submission to count, there must be a current newspaper taped on the wall behind you with the current date (or hold up your cell phone with current date in in your photo).

What do I submit?
A picture of the front, side, and back of your body to show your current fitness progress/status along with a video (see below for more details.)

What do I wear?
Anything that is comfortable for you! Try to wear something similar in both your before and after content so we can see the true progress.  Remember if you wear a crop top and shorts we will be able to notice more of the body progress you’ve made rather than wearing an oversize baggy shirt.  Ultimately a sports bra and bikini bottom will allow us to see the most body changes, but you are not required to wear anything you are uncomfortable in.  Pictures will submit you to enter to win the challenge, but also will represent your individual journey and will be great to look back on in 6 months!

After Content: Pictures, Video & an Essay!  You will need to take an after photo of the front, side, and back view anytime during July 1-5.  You will also need to take a video of a 360 degree view (so move in a slow, full circle while being recorded) so that we can verify that your body is not “edited” in any way.  In order for your submission to count, there must be a current newspaper taped on the wall behind you with the current date (or hold up your cell phone with current date in in your photo).  For the essay, you need to turn in 500 words or less at the end of the challenge explaining how you feel the 6 month $10,000 PowHer.fit Transformation Challenge has help you reach your goals.  This includes non scale victories, mental clarity, gaining emotional strength and confidence, etc.

A picture of the front, side, and back of your body to show your current fitness progress/status along with a video (see below for more details.)
A Side-By-Side picture of the front, side, and back before and afters. Please remember that the before photo will go on the left and the after belongs on the right.  You can make these side-by-side images on Canva (web or app) or Instasize (app) which are both free downloads.  You will also have the opportunity to upload a video and/or write about your journey through this challenge!

Measurements, Weight & Body Fat Percentages are going to be required to be Taken & Turned in this year, because it can truly help decide the winners.  Entrants will have to turn in their body fat %, chest, waist, hips, left leg, right leg, left arm and right arm measurements for both the before and after.

We released the information about needing the body fat % in November, so we gave lots of time to prep, but we know with this new addition will come a learning curve for us all.  While in-bod or a smart scale is more ideal for accuracy, since at-home measurements can cause the users to not be as precise, we are totally workable with at-home methods, but it will be more work on the members to calculate their own. This way nobody will go without being able to turn in something for body fat %.

Challenge Discussion Forum: This allows all entry members to communicate throughout the challenge and rely on each other for community support!

This will be a 6 month transformation challenge to show that real sustainable results require a LIFESTYLE change!

How will the Winner Be Chosen?

The winner will be chosen by Randa Carrabba, Founder of PowHer.fit and the current PowHer.fit team of trainers, nutritionists, dietician and other team members.  We are not focusing only on one thing such as the most weight lost, biggest drop in percentage body fat, or the most lean muscle mass gained.  We will actually be looking for the best OVERALL winner.  The winner will combine multiple benefits of the PowHer.fit Programs including (but not limited to): fat loss, lean muscle mass, inches lost, confidence gained, was well as becoming mentally and physically stronger.  The before content (photos and video) as well as the after content (photos, video and essay) will all be evaluated.  Recording your weight, measurements and percent body fat at the beginning and end of the challenge is going to be a new requirement this year.

Where Can I Do the Challenge?

Anywhere you want, really!  The PowHer.fit program has both gym and home programs so there’s really no excuse as to why you can’t participate.  The home program literally shows you how to use household items such as water bottles, milk jugs, and laundry bags to complete your workout.  PowHer.fit also has standard, advanced and modified (easier) movements for all exercises within a given workout, so no need to feel that you are “too out of shape” or not experienced enough.  Participants can choose from any of our current programs: Strength 1.0 (Home or Gym), Bikini Body Conditioning Program (Home and/or Gym Options), or PowHer 1.0 (also Home or Gym), PostPartum HealHer (Home or Gym for Recovering Moms who recently gave birth), “Pump Your Bump” Pregnancy Program, Push-Pull Program, Kait x PowHer.fit Collab Program  or our PowHer Pair: Booty & Abs (both Home and Gym), Zero Equipment Program or the New Strength 2.0 that will be launching on January 1, 2022 for this challenge. How Long Will the Challenge Run?

For 6 Months!  Beginning content is due between January 1-10 and After content is due between July 1-5.   The winner will be announced on Friday July 15 at 5pm CST.

    1. What program should I be doing?

    • For the most optimum results in 6 months we suggest Strength 1.0 (or 2.0) first (12 weeks) followed by Bikini Body Conditioning (another 12 weeks).  Ultimately, you can do any of the PowHer.Fit Programs!     2. Should I be working out differently?

    • We encourage all challenge participants to limit skipping workouts for the best chances of winning. The more consistent you are, the better your results will be.

    • We do suggest updating your nutritional overview (linked here) to update based upon your personal goals every 4 weeks throughout the challenge. We do not want any members going to ANY unhealthy extremes, and do not encourage ANYONE to intake less than 1200 calories a day.

    4. Will the $15,000 Transformation Challenge Cost any money to enter?
