Meet our PowHer.Fit Empowerment Coaches

Joining a fitness program is a REALLY BIG DEAL because it’s something you’re adding into your daily lifestyle. This can come with a lot of emotions, questions, fears and even doubts when starting something new or stepping outside of your comfort zone. Empowerment Coaches are the leaders of our small group communities. A small group led by an Empowerment Coach is a place where a new member is more likely to ask more questions, be more vulnerable, and create lasting relationships and friendships. Some people will be more likely to stay committed to their own journey from the support of their small group, PowHer.fit friends and coach, rather than just on their own.

Our Empowerment Coaches are not required to be certified personal trainers or nutritionists, but some of them join our team already as CPT’s with official nutritionist credentials, some decide to then add this extra education and qualification to their experience. You can decide if you want a coach who is a current CPT and/or nutritionist, or if you’re more comfortable with another every-day woman living the proven lifestyle that you’re aiming to implement. Our coaches can guide a member to one of our PowHer.fit trainers, nutritionists or dietician on staff to help their members when extra guidance.

Anna Rothenberger

Empowerment Coach

Hi friends! Fitness has always been in my life, some times more than others, but college is when I became more serious about it. I started on my own, then with another fitness program, but I soon realized that I was missing a huge piece to my puzzle, A COMMUNITY. As soon as Randa created PowHer.Fit, I joined immediately with no questions asked because she provided me with the 2 things I was missing most, a family and all CARBS!

I am a firm believer in CONSISTENCY and very passionate about all things nutrition! My journey is full of eating all the food while gaining muscle, cutting down to show off all I have built, and then repeating the cycle all over again! It is what I love and I hope to show the same driven, disciplined, and dedicated being lives in YOU too! Self care is the best thing you can do for YOU and your family! You just have to trust the process, give yourself grace, and in time, the results will come. Now, let’s do this thing TOGETHER! It takes a village!

She is currently down 126lbs and has been able to keep that weight off by living the Powher.fit lifestyle. The versatility and food freedom truly allowed her to be successful, and will continue to do so by managing her diabetes, mental health and food freedom. She didn’t have to worry about restrictions or getting burned out from the same thing every day and needed something that was “doable” with a busy lifestyle as a wife, mom and student.

She was diagnosed with Diabetic Ketoacidosis after COVID in 2021, after this hospitalization scare, she found the “why” to change her lifestyle for her. She worked at Choctaw Casinos and Resort until finishing the Licensed Practical Nursing program that changed her career path into nursing. “Finding PowHerfit has been life changing for me. When I began my journey I was depressed & had lost all self confidence from letting myself go, I didn’t even want to leave the house. I celebrated my one year PowHer Fit anniversary back in September and have never felt better! I love doing my workouts each day and I’ve learned how to eat but still enjoy life. I’m a much happier person with a lot less stress(as long as the HOA stays at a distance😜) I’ve lost over 30lbs & a lot of inches(I can’t remember the exact #) I could not have done any of this without my coach, Carrie, and our team. Carrie has been an inspiration with her weight loss journey & her dedication to furthering her education & career all while being a wife & mom. She’s an absolute rockstar🤩 She has built an amazing team of empowering women. When one of us is having a bad day the others are there to lift us up & hold us accountable. We push each other in a good healthy way & support each other daily! I’m so happy to be on this journey with Team Celestial Tribe❤️❤️“-JU

“In 2 1/2 weeks I have lost 4 lbs simply from Carrie’s counsel on food choices and tracking calories and macros! I have also been eating powher meals for lunch and they are amazing! I cannot wait to start incorporating the workouts on the app!” – Meredith Deeds

“I have known Carrie out of the PowHer fit community for a while. I have watched her success with this program and it has been truly an inspiration to say the least. I finally decided to take control of my health with Carrie’s guidance and after just 8 weeks the results speak for themselves. The Carries Empowerment group has an amazing group of women. It is a safe space to ask any question. Carrie has always been so supportive and answers questions quickly. She offers different ideas on food for health, recipes and encouragement. Anytime I am feeling down about my own success I can simply scroll through the group’s feed and find motivation. Often when anyone asks me about the program she is the first person I tell them about. With all that she has gone through with life, school, kids, work and she still shows up every day. That is the type of person anyone would want to look to for encouragement!”-GP

Hallie P. Lucero

Empowerment Coach

Hello! My name is Hallie P. Lucero. I started my fitness journey in high school, yo-yo dieting, inconsistently doing cross fit and running, mixed into riding horses every day. I went through college as an NCAA collegiate equestrian, lifting weights for the first time and still yo-yo dieting and binge drinking. College ended and I thought I had to eat less, since I wasn’t showing horses and working out like before. I fell into a several year cycle of being in starvation mode-eating less than 1,300 calories daily and binge eating on the weekend. (I did NOT know what I was consuming!). In turn, I gained 10 pounds, eating LESS.

Then, I joined PHF in 2019! I had an all or nothing mindset. I would go to extremes and fall off track, quit, then start back again without focusing on nutrition. I was very inconsistent until I had my daughter. I felt terrible about myself, had no energy, terrible postpartum anxiety and found out I had two bulged discs in my lumbar spine. What changed to make my journey successful?

SMALL, SUSTAINABLE, LIFESTYLE CHANGES that allowed me to see results while working multiple jobs and starting a family! I spent the last three months of 2022 on only PHF nutrition, while rehabbing my back and I lost 20 pounds by eating MORE! 2023 has been my year of consistency. I have proved to myself that my body needs proper fueling with food freedom, and consistent exercise to keep me mentally strong, with high energy. I am here to support you making small, sustainable changes that can influence your whole family! It doesn’t have to be complicated to start your journey and you can still enjoy your favorite foods!

Family life, crazy work schedules, age, there is nothing that should restrict you from living the life of your dreams. I will be here to help you find the balance and confidence in your everyday life!

Jade Higgins

Empowerment Coach

Hi y’all! My name is Jade Higgins! My fitness & health journey has ebbed and flowed over the years – from fad diets to ridiculous amounts of only cardio! The only results I ever got left me hangry, miserable and moody. PowHer.fit has taught me how to properly macro count while getting to enjoy all the foods I love without crazy restrictions!

About 10 years ago I forced myself to get a gym membership and would only workout in the women’s area. After about 6-9 months I finally got up enough courage to explore the main gym area and that’s when I fell in love with strength training and all the benefits it has! Mentally it has been a game changer for me and I can always tell such a difference on days/weeks that I am consistent with my workouts verses when I am not. Strength training will forever continue to be a huge part of my life!

I have a beautiful 12-year-old little girl, Berkli! She is my “why” and the biggest motivator in my life. Knowing she is watching me, helps me to stay disciplined as I want to be the best role model I can be for her. After school and on the weekends Berkli will join me in my PowHer.fit workouts and enjoys helping me cook our macro friendly meals and desserts!

I cannot wait to help encourage, inspire and cheer on other women on their own journey to not be afraid to lift heavy weights and build lean muscle all while enjoying the delicious foods, and carbs, life has to offer!

Jenny Espinosa

Empowerment Coach

Hey there! I’m a 38 year old mompreneur, juggling 3 little ones & 2 businesses. Always busy & limited on time! I joined PHF right before the New Year to get in shape & stay motivated. Before that, I went on just about every fad diet out there, trying to achieve results I could hardly maintain or be satisfied with. Tried yoga, pilates, bootcamp, some targeted weight training, a few different programs & mostly tons of cardio. It was the never ending yoyo effect. Way too much cardio. Way too much dieting. Not enough of the right stuff.

Instantly became hooked with PHF’s full body strength training app & macro based nutritional guidance. The transformation challenge really helped me stay accountable & prioritize myself. My mentality shifted, from having a negative relationship towards food to a healthier, long-term, sustainable approach through reverse dieting. Without the need to deprive myself of calories & nutrients, ditching the “cheat meals” & restrictions. I’m grateful to achieve these results at home with dumbbells, through the ups & downs of everyday life.

I became an empowerment coach to show other women they can do it too! My next goal is to complete the NASM Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach certification. There’s no quick fix, but I’ll help you shift towards a more positive mindset, make healthier choices while consistently taking small steps forward! 💪🏼💖

Justice Clark

Empowerment Coach

Hey y’all, I graduated from Texas State University with a B.S. in Exercise Sports Science with a concentration in Health and Wellness Management. I started my PowerHer.Fit Journey on my birthday in 2019. This has helped me get back to lifting on a daily basis which I truly love.

Fun fact, I was a powerlifter in High School and made it to regionals two years and qualified as a state alternate another year which is a huge accomplishment. I currently work within the medical device field, and I serve in a national role that requires me to fly almost every week somewhere within the U.S. to help educate physicians and new hires. I say this, to let you know that it is possible to live the Powher.Fit lifestyle while being on the go 24/7.

I am here to help and encourage you to live an active life you love, not dread! As a member of my empowerment group you will have me as one of your biggest cheerleaders, small group challenges here and there, and educational content that will help you feel more confident as well. What are you waiting for? Come join the PARTY!!

Lisa Fields

Empowerment Coach

Hi! I’m Lisa and I’m the grandma of the family, but don’t let that scare you away! I am in my later 50’s and in a different phase of my life than maybe most of you, but I’m here to tell you it’s never too late 1) to learn from someone else’s wisdom (or mistakes) and 2) to get fit and be healthy. My husband, 2 tiny toy poodles, and my race car all I live on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. I am a mom/bonus mom to 5 grown kids who have blessed us with 11 grand kids (and they’re not done!). I found Randa on Instagram and joined Powher.fit in 2021 when I moved away from the only home I’ve ever known to the coast. When I left my boutique gym family, I missed that community and our support system. TBH I didn’t put much effort into my Powher.fit membership then. I had become terribly homesick, depressed and thought I needed to be “living” in the gym to have that “community” again, so I quit. Since then, I’ve tried every gym in my new town and have not found exactly what I’m looking for, so I am back! Randa has my support system right here!I’ve had moments where fitness was a big part of my life from taking/teaching step aerobics in the 90s to running a half marathon at age 40 and earning belts in kickboxing. Most of my adult life I was thin and petite but in my late 30s my body started attacking itself and I developed Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. No amount of exercise or food deprivation slowed down the weight gain or lessened the fatigue. Looking back on that I realize it was because I did everything on my own and had no clue what I was doing so of course nothing worked. It was then, for the first time in my life, I hated the way I looked and felt. What concerned me even more was the amount of medication I had to take on a daily basis. Then I hit 49 and had to deal with post menopause and gained even more weight. I went from around 120 lbs most of my adult life to 172 lbs! That was a lot more than I weighed with my pregnancies. I looked puffy and unhealthy. I felt terrible. I made the commitment to myself that I had to change for my health. In my 50s I’ve put in the effort and consistency (KEY) and I’ve been rewarded with losing 40lbs and being in the best shape of my life. My disease is currently in remission and medication now is just to keep it under control instead of treating the 100 different symptoms.Don’t let age change you. Change the way you age. In February 2020 I had a terrible skiing accident and blew out my left knee, the entire thing. It was devastating (and very painful) but what got me through it was my fitness and my fitness community. My surgeon even released me 4 months early because I never stopped working out during my recovery. I just moved my workouts to my wheelchair and to my pool and focused on strength and movement. In my 50s I have fallen in love with fitness. Cardio, yoga, Pilates, etc. are all wonderful and I still do all types of workouts, but I do full body strength training 5-8 hours a week. That hour+ a day is MY time. The secret really is consistency and strength training. It’s a lifestyle that you can maintain well into the senior years of your life and if you are young now you are already ahead of the game. Lisa coaching style guarantees she will be your biggest cheerleader. She is in an older season of life and that brings wisdom and real life experience from postpartum to injury/surgery recovery, to pre or post menopause to learning to love your older body. You name it she’s been through it and she will support you on any journey. She checks in with her members both in her private Facebook group and an optional text messages for daily encouragement and accountability. She’s not a 1-2 month coach. She’s a 1-2 year coach that wants a relationship with you. She understands that older or injured bodies need compassion and modifications at times, but she will expect you to commit and put in the work. A healed, healthier, happier you is absolutely attainable no matter your season of life and Coach Lisa is walking, talking proof that YOU can do it.

I picked Lisa as my empowerment coach because I saw she had to pivot from an in person gym community to PowHer.fit. I came to PowHer.fit after having to leave Crossfit, which is highly community focused, because my schedule just got too full and my kids are involved in more things now.She is also a season of life ahead of me, so I will take all the wisdom I can get. I think of her as more like a mentor and friend than a coach. I have loved “getting to know her” virtually and I can’t wait to meet in person one day!” – Lyndsay

Lori Arion

Empowerment Coach

I am a busy mom who works full time and enjoys throwing some weight daily for a little stress relief. I have been active in sports since I was young and have always had a genuine passion for the lifestyle, coming from a small town where sporting events were life! After that ended, I was in and out of the gym trying different diets and products that I thought would let me magically wake up with abs one day…. which never worked and had me feeling at a loss with my goals. I usually had the workouts down- it was the nutrition that really held me back.

After a few years of Yo-Yo dieting and switching up my routines in the gym, I got certified in personal training. I felt like I finally nailed my routine and really wanted to help others along their journey as well. While I enjoyed my time helping as a CPT, I stepped back and switched my career to become an X-Ray Tech. During my last year of school, I found out I was pregnant, so my fitness life took a backseat while I was also finishing my degree.

I had my daughter the summer of 2020 and didn’t know what my postpartum lifestyle was going to look like with health and fitness, but I knew I wanted to get it started ASAP. I did my first PowHer.fit workout the same day the doctor released me and I have been with this family ever since! My relationship with food is better than ever and I truly feel I am currently in the best shape I have ever been in (physically and mentally). When the opportunity presented itself for me to help others in this community, I JUMPED. I am 100% a believer in PowHer.fit and I really want to help other women learn that this IS sustainable long term and you CAN enjoy your life while exercising and eating carbs! Lyndsay Ball

Empowerment Coach

Hi, I am Lyndsay and I live with my husband, Matt and our two girls, Payton and Blayke 11 and 7, in Friendswood, TX. I am a busy mom who works part time at a local church as an administrative assistant. I live a busy life, but still try to find intentional time for family, rest, travel, and of course exercise!

I found PowHer.fit after having to leave my Crossfit community of 5 years because my schedule did not work with fixed class times anymore. I was heartbroken to have to leave the amazing community my box had and was concerned that working out on my own I would lose my love for what I was doing. I found Powher.fit only 2 weeks after I left my old gym and I could not be happier! The community aspect + strength focused full body training + challenges + flexible schedule checks all of the boxes I was looking for and more!

After hitting rock bottom in 2018 with my overall health (mental and physical) and losing myself to being a mom, I began my health and fitness journey when I started Crossfit. I have lost 50 pounds and have overcome binge/stress eating, both of which I still have to consistently work on and will continue working on for the rest of my life. While I did not lose all the weight at PowHer.fit, I have improved my strength, gained self confidence, and have increased my knowledge of nutrition. I now use food as fuel, not as a drug!

Strength and confidence are what I focus on building and I want to encourage my members to do the same. Finding self confidence through strength training and proper nutrition is absolutely one of the best changes I have made in my life and I am proud to say I am passing this on to my watching daughters! If your self esteem, health, fitness, or even mental state is at an all time low because of poor choices made with food, lack of activity, and proper self care, I couldn’t think of a better place to start! I can relate to all of the above and will encourage and pray for and with you along the way.

Take this step for yourself! To learn more about me, you can check me out on my Instagram HERE!

Madeline Ferretiz

Empowerment Coach

Madeline joined PowHer.fit in August 2019. She tried several other programs and found a love for strength training. The one thing that prevented her from reaching her goals was her nutrition. Madeline thought she needed to eat 1200-1500 calories a day to see results. It was difficult to maintain that kind of diet and always led to her getting off track. After joining PowHer.fit and winning the 4-week September Challenge, Madeline found out she was expecting her first child. Madeline continued weight lifting and strength training throughout her pregnancy. Although she had an emergency C-section, her recovery has been nothing short of amazing. Madeline lost 50 lbs. by 9 months postpartum. Madeline is in the greatest shape she has been in since graduating high school. Now, she is focusing on building strength and lifting heavy. She wants to show women that they can be their best self after having a baby, no matter how much weight they gained, how many stretch marks they found, or how loose their skin became. Madeline’s goal for her members is to encourage and show them that they are their own competition and their goals CAN be reached.

Madeline chooses to lead her coaching group by example. Over her own journey with PowHer.fit she has shown to be consistent and committed to working out and fueling her body with nutritious foods. She wants to show her members that throughout different seasons of life, you CAN still exercise for other reasons outside of just losing weight. Madeline shows her group how to be consistent during busy seasons with encouragement, tough love, and teaching them how to look at their own habits.

She checks in on her group members through Facebook, messenger, and weekly live videos with engaging posts and messages.

Melissa Khan

Empowerment Coach

Hey everyone my name is Melissa, I’m one of the “older” girls in the PowHer fit coaching team!! My husband and I own a medical clinic, a Medspa/Weight loss clinic and recently opened a Stem Cell center. I have two beautiful daughters Italee and Irelynd who are amazing gymnasts and dancers. My husband Nadeem Khan and Our French Bull Dog “Louis Vuitton Khan”, our 4 German Shepherds: Zeus, Tally, Diamond Dilly, and Bahloo, our Peacocks, mini pixie pig- Rosee Posee, our donkey- Jewels, miniature horses- Hercules, and two big horses all live right here in Texas in a little town called Aledo. As an advocate for health and wellness to all my patients, the biggest problem I see is proper nutrition and exercise!! As a child with many health issues and severe asthma, I was told my whole life I could not work out or have too much activity. After heading to college I decided I was done listening to everyone tell me I couldn’t workout and i was going to fix my health with a healthy lifestyle and exercise. I couldn’t do much cardio without setting myself into breathing issues so I turned to weight training, my entire life and my health changed! I healed my body in so many ways and defeated all the odds! All these medications that were suppose to make me obese no longer had control of me, or my weight. Learning the nutrition system of macro counting and food freedom with PowHer fit makes health long term manageable and obtainable. The full body fitness program allows even the busiest person an option for workouts that take less time and still shows lots of results! Over the years I have consistently preached to everyone how important weight training is! This past year with the increased use of weight loss drugs such as Ozempic and Semaglutide, and Mounjaro, while these are amazing for weight loss and other health conditions, they don’t build muscle or strength. It is my mission in life to help these patients and all of the world build MUSCLE!! While I see people daily achieving so much weight loss success, the reduction of strength and stamina causes so much concern and frustration, more importantly our long term health depends on our muscle mass, and losing muscle isn’t the goal when losing weight. We have to start building awareness on how critical muscle mass is especially for women! To learn more about Michele, check her out on her Instagram HERE!

Michele Kreft

Empowerment Coach

Michele manages multiple businesses, but still finds time for her own health and wellness through the Powher.fit app. Michele has found a true passion in helping other women who may also lead a busy lifestyle prioritize their own health and wellness as well. She leads her small group with a realistic approach to a long-term lifestyle change, not a “diet” or a “quick fix.” Michele, her husband, Cody, and their daughter Cali reside in Cotulla, TX with their 3 dogs: Jenny, Josie and Jessie. Michelle Ramsey

Empowerment Coach

Michelle has had an enthusiasm for fitness most of her life. She was introduced to the gym at a young age and got her first gym membership as soon as she was old enough. While earning her degree in Exercise Science, Michelle became a certified personal trainer. However, after getting married and having children, fitness took a backseat. She was able to lose the weight she had gained during her pregnancies, but never truly got back into shape. Michelle worked mostly desk jobs in medical offices and did not make fitness or nutrition a priority. Over the years, she gained and lost weight, and by the time she was 40 years old, she thought it was too late to get back in good physical shape. After marrying her current husband, Michelle returned to a fitness routine, but sustained an injury, gained weight again and ended up at her highest pregnancy weight!

In September 2019, at the age of 42, Michelle decided it was time to get back into a consistent fitness routine! While she watched PowHer.Fit grow, instead of joining right away, she set off on her own routine with targeted strength training and a lot of cardio. She did see some success, but she was over training and her workouts were not sustainable long-term. Michelle finally joined PowHer.Fit in June 2021 and immediately realized the benefits and sustainability of full-body strength training with balanced nutrition. Since joining PowHer.Fit, Michelle has lost body fat, gained muscle, and increased her strength!

Michelle has accomplished more on her fitness journey than she thought possible, especially in her 40’s. She truly believes that it’s never too late to start or restart your fitness journey. She wants to help women recognize the benefits of strength training and building muscle. She also wants to help women realize both the physical and mental benefits of physical fitness and balanced nutrition. Michelle wants to encourage and support women to reach their potential, regardless of age or season of life.

Michelle lives with her husband, Matt, two daughters, Kylie and Kadynce, and two dogs, Mia and Bryan in Rio Rancho, NM. Her ideal client is a woman over 35 with a busy lifestyle who desires to become a better version of herself, not just to improve her aesthetics, but who is also motivated to improve her health and strength for longevity. Someone who is disciplined, and willing to learn and put in the work. Experienced or not does not matter to me, as long as you are teachable and willing to work.

I encourage consistency with both workouts and nutrition and don’t allow excuses to get in the way. Instead, I help you find ways to work around it. I can’t force habit changes, but am persistent in encouragement. Keep up with her on insta HERE!
